Viewer location
Advertiser demand varies by country, so two channels with the same views can have different RPMs.
RPM based
Estimate long-form and Shorts earnings manually or from a public channel.
Understand your estimate
Automatic mode reads public channel activity and applies estimated RPM ranges to long-form and Shorts views separately. Manual mode lets you enter monthly views and an RPM when you already know the numbers you want to test.
Core revenue formula
Monthly views ÷ 1,000 × RPM = estimated monthly revenue
Daily estimates use the monthly figure divided by 30. Yearly estimates use the monthly figure multiplied by 12.
Advertiser demand varies by country, so two channels with the same views can have different RPMs.
Long-form videos and Shorts earn from different pools and must be estimated separately.
Topic, ad demand, time of year, video length, and the share of monetized views can change revenue.
Clear answers
Use these estimates for comparison and planning. YouTube Studio remains the source of truth for your own channel.
It is a planning estimate, not a report of a channel’s actual income. Automatic mode uses public channel activity and estimated RPM ranges. Actual earnings can differ because YouTube does not publish a channel’s monetized views, audience mix, ad demand, claims, or private revenue data.
The core calculation is monthly views divided by 1,000, multiplied by estimated RPM. Cutlark calculates long-form videos and Shorts separately, then converts the monthly estimate into daily and yearly figures.
RPM means revenue per mille: the creator’s revenue per 1,000 views after YouTube’s revenue share. Your own YouTube Studio RPM is the best number to use when it is available.
They use different monetization systems. Watch-page revenue is tied to ads and other revenue around long-form videos, while Shorts Feed ad revenue is pooled and allocated separately. That is why Cutlark never applies one RPM to both formats.
Yes. Enter a public channel handle or URL in Automatic mode. The result is an outside estimate based on public activity; only the channel owner can see actual revenue in YouTube Studio.
No. The calculator estimates YouTube-related revenue from views and RPM assumptions. Private sponsorships, affiliate sales, merchandise, courses, and other off-platform income are not included.
